Renaissance Project
In english I enjoyed doing the Tea Staining at the end of the project I just thought that that was a cool leaning moment and I really never knew how it was done before. Academically wise I loved doing the character drawing and the writing piece part. In history I really liked to do some of the mental flosses because I really liked to learn about that time period and thought it was really interesting. In math I enjoyed the whole designing and building of the games, I thought that was a really fun time for me. I liked doing the recreations of the art pieces (the final products) I thought it was really fun. I would say on a scale of 1-10 this project would be a 5 because I thought that some of the things we did were using a lot of creativity and it was just fun in general, but the more challenging things in this project was the writing piece and the character presentations because it was hard for me to create a character and all the things about him in such a short amount of time, But in the end I thought that my presentation was great and that it went really well. The most challenging thing for me was whole math probability game part was most challenging because it just didn't really interest me all that much. I don't know why but I thought it didn't really tie into the whole renaissance project and theme. It could have also been brought in a little better within the exhibition and it could have been a whole other thing other than you get your food and then sit down to play a game. But I definitely think it could be more. I did receive a little feedback from peers, but it was just some basic stuff like, add more and make it more professional. But other than that I didn't get much. I don't think I am the proudest of the writing piece because mine was a recipe and my opinion on the recipe, but I am not very good on opinions, like I might say yes to one thing and no to another but on a long thought out thing where it had my opinion of different things written out to a point where I was just elongating the sentence didn't really strike me as a good piece. I think I did great at Exhibition, The things that I did were very simple and I just handed out cookies to people and answered questions, I didn't get nervous or anything like that because I thought it was a lot more casual of an exhibitionI would change the probability game because in my opinion it was kinda not the best thing at the exhibition and I think it could have been a lot better. I think I do understand the lasting impact of the renaissance. In my opinion it was a time of inspiration and trying new things, new buildings, new architecture styles. But other things too, like in the early 12th-13th century there was plague and other diseases that destroyed most of the European population at the time (about ⅓)
